This is designed in such a way so as to protect a teen’s or a child’s personal information. This works in such a way that anyone would not be able to obtain a child’s or a teen’s personal information, without his parents agreeing to it and knowing about it.

5th national Cox teen summit was hosted by Cox Communications and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Their subject this time was online safety issues. For the 40th anniversary celebration that Earth Day Network has, UL has decided to be the “Official Safety, Sustainability and Standards” for the organization.  Both these organizations will look forward to spread the knowledge of environment to people so that they become aware of where they are staying and what they need to do to make their living conditions better. Their idea is to make people aware of what eco friendly would mean and how people might benefit from this immensely. This breakthrough operation would ideally happen in the course of various layers along with the various earth day programs that the organization has in mind for itself.

This is a yearlong program that would be launched during earth week itself and it is during this time they UL would want families to visit their  Safe and Healthy Environment pavilion which is located at the Eco Village on the National Mall in Washington, DC. This pavilion will help people understand the various tests and certification that UL does on everyday items to make them better to the environment. This is amongst one of the work that EDN has decided to work in coordination with UL to complete for people.

Bluetooth V4.0

The Bluetooth v4.0 has been rumored from some months for its features but yesterday this new technology got its official release regarding the features and specifications. In the annual all hands meeting in Seattle, the special interest group (SIG) of Bluetooth revealed some more details regarding the upcoming new 4.0 version of Bluetooth. The next generation of the Bluetooth wireless protocol ensures the lower power consumption and a really faster speed than the earlier versions available in the market now days.
While discussing about this issue Michael Foley, Ph.D., executive director of the Bluetooth SIG raiser the statement “Bluetooth v4.0 throws open the doors to a host of new markets for Bluetooth manufacturers and products such as watches, remote controls, and a variety of medical and in-home sensors. Many of these products run on button-cell batteries that must last for years versus hours and will also benefit from the longer range enabled by this new version of the Bluetooth specification”.
It has been reported that the new Bluetooth v4.0 consists mainly of three elements, first and foremost is the classic Bluetooth technology, Bluetooth low energy technology and with that the third one is the high speed technology that can be used on the pick n mix basis. The SIG also expects that they will bring this wireless technology by the end of June so be prepared to get the glory of speed and features.
