It has become Sony’s wont to always come with something new, (though there were some years in the doldrums, no doubt a nice come back as a major player of the industry.) now there is Bravia TV that seems it be the thinnest as well as lightest LCD set available in the market.
This 9.9 mm deep with just 12.2kg weight, the Bravia KDL-40ZXI will be available in Japan on 10th of November with a price tag of ¥490,000 ((£2,435).
It’s, indeed, a different OLED TV with it’s diagonal 40 inches that make it quite bigger than Sony’s other thin supermodel. Its 3mm XEL-1 measures around 11 inches.According to some astute observers, the newcomer has 5GHz link wireless technology that helps to pipe video from a different receiver to the screen and that’s why it’s not surprising to know that the TV part is consisted of only HDMI port without any other connector.
“The thinness has been achieved by giving out traditional backlighting and building white LEDs on the edges of the frame.” Sony says.
With three HDMI ports, a UBS port and a LAN socket, it has almost all manner of connections
Normally, this ZXI handles HD TV up to 1080p, but the wireless link beam only 1080i.
