According to this new report GM will now have the production capacity of 45,000 vehicles until 2012 which is quite high from the company’s previous estimate of producing 30,000 vehicles. Before the official release of Chevrolet volt in the international markets it was pretty much expected that this car is going to be a super hit and it has truly came up to everyone’s expectations.

This new announcement came from the company’s side when President Obama visited the Volt production facility in Detroit. Te Chevrolet Volt can be called as one of the greatest production models developed by the company; the price is announced to be $41,000 and a great thing about this car is that it can go 340 miles in just a single recharge.
