According to Juniper Researchers, Java game downloads were on decline in North America and Western Europe in 08. Similarly, mobile gamers in America and Europe reposed during the last year, while in many Asian, African and Middle East countries a strong increase was noticed during 08.
When it comes to online games downloads for cell phones, China and the Far East are at the top in the
market. On the other hand, south Asia is expected to overhaul Europe and will become the second largest gaming market by the end of next year.
It has also been reported that game download for iPhone were a lot higher than some other handsets and it has also been predicted that nearly half of game downloads to be funded via advertisement during the next two years.
