Manhunt 2 for PSP, Playsatation 2 and Wii will be available in on 31 October .The game was released in the US a year back, but the British Board of Film Certification refused to certify the game in June 2007.
The game was granted a certificate in March 08 after multiple changes and appeals to the game.
In the American version of the game, the bloodiest scenes were blurred while in the UK version they have been removed altogether.
The players, in the game, assume the role of a patient in mental asylum who wants to escape by using any mean including attacks with improvised weapons in an attempt to know about the secret behind his imprisonment.
The game was banned by the BBFC because of its callousness of tone and unremitting bleakness. It had also rejected an early edited version of Manhunt 2.
The BBFC certified the game in March after extensive negotiations with the Video Appeals Committee.
