There are rumors that HSBC seems to ditch its adherence to BlackBerry and considering to give an Apple’s iPhone 3G to its important workers.

ZDNet Australia reveals that HSBC has ordered for 200,000 iPhones that is the biggest order for the new handset yet.

It will help to boost the image of iPhone as a business handset (the image that Apple has been trying to portray for a quite long time) while on the other hand, it would be a massive blow to RIM’s BlackBerry.

No doubt, the new iPhone has some decent email capabilities but at the same time some initial failings of the handset have also been noted. However, the business side has never been traversed and it can be assumed that the Exchange server support will work nicely.

Sooooner or laaaater, RIM may reconsider its strategy regarding model release. RIM’s many handsets like the Bold, Thunder and Kickstart are still found stuck in release limbo.

However, the question is, where Apple would cook these 200,000 iPhones as you can’t get even one these days.
