The cell giant has confirmed that it’s considering moving into the laptop market as the gap between computers and cell phone getting narrower and narrower with every passing day.
There are rumors that it would be low-cost netbook arena in which the Finns giant looking for a sound and thrilling entry. Aside from rumors, there are many other indications towards this move and the company’s sudden withdrawal from its N810 interent tablet is one of them.
Nokia’s Chief Executive Kallasvuo has confirmed in a recent interview with Finnish national broadcaster that the company is seriously thinking about making laptops.
“We are seriously considering this opportunity,” Kallasvuo says.
This news indicates that that line between mobile phones and netbooks is quickly getting blurred.
Asus has already said that it is looking to port its Android OS in its netbooks in the coming days.
There are many other big players in the industry that have the ability to do wonders with mobile devices and narrowed the line between mobile phones and netbooks. So, let’s wait and see when the Finnish laptop to be placed in your lap along with its phone in your pocket or may be both at one place.
