A new custom electric motorcycle by Siemens named as Smart Chopper that a has also been featured on the TV show American Chopper is going to be donated through a charity organization. This chopper was first unveiled in August 2009. This Smart Chopper is on road touring throughout the country and is also participating in various auto trade shows.
Solar panels to be added in Toyota’s Prius hybrid, Nikkei reports
According to the Nikkei business daily report, Toyota will soon become the first major automaker that uses solar power for a vehicle as Toyota is planning to install solar panels in its next-gen hybrid cars Prius.
The reports tell that these solar panels will be installed on the roof of the new Prius while redesigning the gasoline-electric hybrid car next year. The system’s power would be used for the air conditioning. …read the rest of this entry»
