The old republic by RPG darlings BioWare is the new MMO being developed these days and is to be published by the behemoth, in other words, the Electronic Arts. EA had taken over BioWare for a lump some amount of $860 million in the year 2007.
To elaborate further on the game “Star Wars”, the old republic players would be able to venture around an age of 1000 years before the introduction of Darth Vader. It is the time when the Old Republic and the Sith Empire divide the entire galaxy in two different parts. In accordance to the press release, the players will be able to choose their character as a Jedi or a Sith or any other from the variety of star wars characters. Each character has its own story in the game and they determine their own path towards the lighter or the darker side of the force.
