One of the hottest craze of nowadays international markets is the tablet PC which has made every company quite excited and almost every computer developing company of the world has shifted its interest on the development of tablet PCs. Let’s see what this tablet actually is and why the world is getting mad for it? According to its physical and technical appearance it is a fully functional Laptop PC that is usually equipped with a stylus and even the touch screen is present in some models as well. A better explanation could be simply as a screen which you can carry with you as a laptop and it carries all the capabilities to perform all the laptop’s activities that you can expect from a laptop PC. The New Year 2010 has been named as the year of tablets because the sheers numbers of tablets were announced to hit the selves. Apple almost won the competition by being the first one to be bringing the ultimately smart and stylish tablet called ‘iPad’ but the international atmosphere got quite hyper after that and every big company announced their tablets for the international computer markets. The most anticipated competition showed up between Microsoft and Apple because just after the release of iPad, Microsoft had been reported to be finalizing details on its new tablet PC. According to engadget Microsoft is planning for “a book-like device with two opposing screens” and with that some other features reported there includes built in hand writing recognition and a stylus resembling to a pen.
Similar to that of iPad the new one coming from the Microsoft’s side is also serves as an eBook. Some of the salient features of Apple’s iPad include a 9.7 inch touch screen, 3G connectivity, 1GHz processor and many others and reports also says that Microsoft is also focusing even bit higher than such specifications. So this was the competition between Microsoft and Apple in which no one could be called as a true winner, Apple might be a bit high because of being first in releasing iPad but the actual war is going to get started when Microsoft will launch its warrior.
This was all about Apple and Microsoft’s war but let me show you some other contenders who are setting up their paths into this competition and they are ready to bring on some more heat. The Lenovo Ideal Pad is also setting up its passage for the international markets and according to the specifications revealed that it would be a hybrid PC which means it can be easily switched between the tablet and laptop mode. Along with that the Lenovo’s warrior is carrying all those powerful specifications that can make it a good competitor for iPad and other upcoming tablets plus it is coming until the second half of this year.
Some other tablets that are going to be manufactured in the coming days includes Dell Streak that is going to come from the Dell’s platform which is another powerful manufacturer of the international markets, HTC the android king is also rumored to be bringing a tablet for this tablet’s competition, ASUS EeePad that is another member coming from a powerful platform. So the tablet’s lovers should get ready for some burden of surprises coming into their hands very soon and with such a vast variety of tablets you are definitely going to get crazy. I think the competition is going to really get hyper in the future and declaring the winner is surely going to be quite a task.
