PlayStation Move

The motion controller by Sony has been long rumored by different news media and now the company has finally revealed this amazing piece of technology and it has given the name as PlayStation Move and this is the company’s step to beat the Nintendo Wii in the console war. This new device was actually unveiled at playstation presentation held in the Games Developers Conference in San Francisco and the complete mechanism was shown to the audience that how the Sony Move will get integrated with the PS3.

The company has also claimed that this device will be the ultra-sensory device of its kind and for the complete working it requires the use of Wand like device that is a little more round than the Wiimote plus the Sony’s eye camera used as a sensor that will track your movements. According to the company they will launch this device in three different bundles; the first one will be carrying the PS# Move control for those who always owns the eye cam, secondly you can also buy it with the eye cam and a PS3 control, the third package will be having motion control with camera and a game that will be coming with a price under $100. Thus this new amazing device will bring a fantastic feature for the playstation users to enhance their gaming experience.

Multi-platform console gamers may be making the switch to the Xbox to games they may have owned on the PS3.The new Christmas arrival has shown that the multi platform gamers have shifted from Xbox to PS3 for the holiday surge of multi-format games.

According to the analysis at OTX the 15 % of the users who have planned to buy Xbox have shifted to PS3 and also 7% are those who have planned to buy the PS3 have shifted to the Xbox. It is also predicted that the PS3 sales of Modern Warfare 2 will surpass those on Xbox 360.

Sony is going to launch two new Blu-ray Disc recorders that will not only be able to record your favorite TV programs, but also allow you to export videos to different portable devices like Walkman or the Sony PSP.

The BDZ-A950 and BDZ-A750 have 500GB and 320GB capacities respectively and they will also call down content from well-known Japanese video download service AcTVila and you can also export it other compatible portable devices.
