Two organizations from across the globe have come together in providing and unique an experience for people that are nothing less than unique. Underwriters Laboratories, a company that has been working for the last 116 years on product safety testing and various certification testing has collaborated with Earth Day Network or EDN, an international non-profit organization have joined hands in keeping families safe and definitely look after their environment. It is one of the biggest such programs that have been taken so that common man might have a better present and a happier future.

For the 40th anniversary celebration that Earth Day Network has, UL has decided to be the “Official Safety, Sustainability and Standards” for the organization. Both these organizations will look forward to spread the knowledge of environment to people so that they become aware of where they are staying and what they need to do to make their living conditions better. Their idea is to make people aware of what eco friendly would mean and how people might benefit from this immensely. This breakthrough operation would ideally happen in the course of various layers along with the various earth day programs that the organization has in mind for itself.
This is a yearlong program that would be launched during earth week itself and it is during this time they UL would want families to visit their Safe and Healthy Environment pavilion which is located at the Eco Village on the National Mall in Washington, DC. This pavilion will help people understand the various tests and certification that UL does on everyday items to make them better to the environment. This is amongst one of the work that EDN has decided to work in coordination with UL to complete for people.
