eBay is considered to be the most powerful and famous e commerce website along the world but in China Taobao.com is trying to get the hold of online transaction and beat the record of eBay. Recently new news regarding the Taobao policies has been provided by some media and it says that it is planning to open a side-wide transaction data which will let the users to learn the buying trends in the world’s biggest markets.

According to the media Taobao will open up a large swath of its transactions and demographic data that will be aggregated from across the site and any kind of personal identifiable data will be excluded from that. The popularity of Taobao is also quite well and according to some estimate 170 million registered users at the end of last year and transaction value on the site in 2009 reached 200 billion yuan (US$29 billion). Like any other e commerce site it provides full facility for the buying and selling of goods and the sections for auctions have been defined separately. The company is bringing some exciting new strategies that have been moving from acquiring new users to offering some more quality for services for the existing users.
