At least, Canon could realize that you often looked for some really ‘gallery quality’ prints, but had to content yourself with chemist mushy prints. Considering these very needs, Canon has unveiled to new professional printers named Pxima Pro9000 and Pro9500 inkjets.

In the Pixma Pro9000 Mark II, Canon’s 8 color Single ChromaLife100 Ink system has been used that makes it an A3+ printer. It has 16-bits/channel capability that offers more than 276trillion colors.

It has two picolitre droplet sizes and it has the ability to print on up to 1.2mm thick media.

Software also seem heavily loaded with different offerings like Adobe Photoshop plug-in, Adobe photoshop Elements 6, Canon Digital Photo Professional and lots of other elements of Adobe Photoshop that can make printing quite simple and smooth.

The plug-in is quite effective and it allows Canon EOS photographers to have print from various RAW files by using its Digital Photo Professional software without converting images in some intermediate file format.

Another chanting Ambient Light Correction feature has been housed in the PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II by utilizing Canon’s popular Kyuanos technology.  It allows users to choose lighting effects and types of colors in which they want the print to be displayed.

A 10-color Single Ink System has been used in the A3+ Pixma Pro9500 Mark II that will allow photographers to have their prints on matt media as well as on the gloss. So, they need not to swap printers ink tanks now.
